a great day
We had a great day with Hans. He picked us up right on time at the port and we spent the next few hours seeing the countryside, windmill exploration, a stop in a darling town for a cup of tea all with great commentary from Hans. We were originally scheduled for a 1/2 day tour. But Hans was free that day and continued our tour into the city. We arrived in the city in time for some lunch and to go to the Anne Frank House. Afterwards, we all walked the city a bit, did some shopping as Hans provided info, stories and history of Amsterdam/Holland. At the end of the day he got us back to the ship with time to spare, smiles on our faces and great memories of the day.

a fantastic guide
Hans was a fantastic guide during our tour of The Hague, Delft, Haarlem and the Holland countryside. We saw all of the key sites as well as several hidden gems as of this beautiful country as we toured in his luxury van. Hans provided excellent historical context as well as anecdotes about The Netherlands and lesser-known facts. Hans has amazing knowledge of the country and delivered an absolutely wonderful day! good communication
Hans provided good communication beforehand and even parked his car and met us in a place that was difficult to navigate. He picked us up from our cruise ship and took us around the beautiful countryside. He had great knowledge of the areas and his country so we left better informed. We also appreciated him taking in consideration of my father in law who was less mobile. The tour was

I learned so much

a wonderful tour
We had a wonderful tour with Hans. He took us all over the countryside outside of Amsterdam. We visited old windmills, a dairy farm and cheese factory, many little beautiful villages and ended up in walking the streets of Amsterdam. His car was roomy and comfortable. Hans was very knowledgeable and personable and the 4 of us really enjoyed our tour.

perfect day
This was the perfect day! Touring the flower market on the way to Keukenhof Gardens was so interesting. Hans walked with us through the market and through the gardens. Guiding us through paths that were less busy. One of our group had some mobility issues and Hans immediately provided a small stool to make it easier for him to get in and out of the van. He also knew where to get a wheelchair at Keukenhof to make things easier. All while being genuinely relaxed, engaged and just a great person to be with.

Hans is wonderful! We all so much enjoyed his extremely knowledgeable but laid-back style. We were not the easiest group — leading up to the tour I was frequently messaging Hans that “we would like to do this or that, what do you think?” He was so flexible and willing to customize the tour to our wishes, but he also provided great guidance to keep us away from the overly-touristed areas. What a great guide! You can’t go wrong with this tour.

We highly recommend Hans as a tour host. Hans picked us up at the airport exactly on time and not only took us to see fields of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and more, then on to the Keukenhof gardens to be immersed in the beautiful gardens full of every blooming bulb possible. He was very knowledgeable about the canals outside of the city. Later he took us to see windmills and back around Amsterdam to find our airb&b. He was a perfect host and went above and beyond our expectations. He made our first impression of Amsterdam unforgettable.

very flexible
We had a great day with Hans. He was very flexible and took us to places we requested that weren’t on the plan. He also carried our luggage throughout the day and took us to the train station at the end of our tour. He is knowledgable about the area and laid back enough to go where you want.

Hans was a great tour guide. We had our 13&10 year old daughters with us and he made sure they were engaged and happy as well. enjoyed our tour
We really enjoyed our tour of Amsterdam and the picturesque villages surrounding the city.. We visited a dairy farm, went inside a working windmill, and strolled the streets of a couple villages. Hans, our guide, was very knowledgeable and engaging.
